Temperature sensor

A temperature sensor is an electronic component. The process of converting temperature into an electrical variable is frequently based on the principle of temperature-induced changes in resistance (e.g. PT 100) or the thermoelectric effect (e.g. thermocouple) (also see sensor and thermoelectric series).
