Entropy

Entropy is a thermodynamic property and is a measurement of the disorder in a system. It is defined as:

ds = dQ • T-1

ds    Differential variation of entropy
T      Thermodynamic temperature
dQ   Differential, reversible quantity of heat transferred to the system

The entropy of water at 273 K is by definition zero.
