External Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer within the Building department to visit our customers in Flanders.

Function

  • We are looking for an external sales with relationship management and prospecting skills for a specifically assigned customer portfolio.
  • Within this position, you will help define the sales strategy and your technical and commercial skills will be challenged to help build a future with KSB.
  • You will work in a team to achieve both individual and common internal goals.
  • You will be assisted by a colleague from the internal Sales department in Wavre.
  • You can correctly sense both the customer and the market to opportunities and challenges.
  • Correct and honest working attitude and who is not afraid to take the lead without being dominant and can motivate and steer direct colleagues. 
  • Your sales do not stop at the signature, but at a satisfied customer and company and you therefore work on the basis of a long-term vision rather than opportunistically.
  • General workshop : at our customers' premises in Flanders, with occasional visits to our branches in Wavre.

Searched profile

  • Possession of A1/Bachelor preferably with a degree in air-conditioning or initial work experience in this industry

  • Knowledge of HVAC is a plus

  • Ducth-speaking or fluent in Dutch with practical knowledge of English and French. Knowledge of German is a plus. 

  • Practical experience and skills with the usual Windows and Office programs

  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM systems is a plus.

  • Able to work proactively and administratively conscientiously. 

  • Demonstrable sales and/or calculation experience preferably with pumps and market within the HVAC and plumbing world is a big plus. 

  • Knowledge of automation is also a plus.

  • Hands-on mentality who does not shy away from working in the firing line of sales as an ambassador for KSB and can balance defending KSB's interests but someone who also ‘fights’ for his customer.

  • Hands-on mentaliteit die niet terugschrikt om in de vuurlinie van de verkoop te werken als ambassadeur van KSB en het evenwicht kan vinden in het verdedigen van de belangen van KSB maar iemand die ook „vecht“ voor zijn klant.
