Whether handling biomass and sewage sludge or incinerating waste: The pressure in many industrial plants regarding renewable energies is rising – literally. As one of the world's leading experts in pump technology, KSB has been using its technical know-how for many years to develop pumps that contribute to the maximum economic and efficient use of regenerative forms of energy.
Based on the technology of the HGM boiler feed pump, tried and tested for decades, HGM-S has been designed as a standard variant especially for use in regenerative power plants (such as waste-to-energy plants, biomass power plants and industrial boilers), in which constant and precise dosing of water has to be ensured. HGM-S enables a maximum operating pressure of 100 bar and offers all proven design features of the HGM pump such as product-lubricated bearings and a compact design, for example. Also, HGM-S does not need cooling for temperatures of up to 140 °C. At present, KSB is working on extending the uncooled range to 160 °C.
With the HGM-S as a standard version of the proven HGM boiler feed pump, KSB offers its customers a solution that not only provides maximum operating reliability, efficient hydraulic systems and ease of use in the field of regenerative energies, but also (as the only supplier on the market) a five-year warranty. Multitec

WKTB
Vertical can-type ring-section pump on base frame, multistage, first-stage impeller designed as a double-entry suction impeller, radial impellers. Flanges to DIN or ANSI.
HPK-L
Horizontal radially split volute casing pump in back pull-out design to ISO 2858 / ISO 5199, single-stage, single-entry, with radial impeller. Equipped with heat barrier, seal chamber air-cooled by integrated fan impeller, no external cooling. ATEX-compliant version available.
BOA-H
Bellows-type globe valve to DIN/EN with flanged ends, with on/off disc or throttling plug, standard position indicator with colour coding for identification of valve design, replaceable valve disc; bellows protected when valve is in fully open position; seat/disc interface made of wear and corrosion resistant chrome steel or chrome nickel steel.
STAAL 100 AKD/AKDS
Gate valve to DIN/EN with flanged ends (AKD) or butt weld ends (AKDS), with bolted bonnet, body of forged or welded construction, non-rotating stem, split wedge with flexibly mounted discs for precise alignment with the body seats. Seat/disc interface made of wear and corrosion resistant 17 % chrome steel or Stellite.
ISORIA 10/16
Centred-disc butterfly valve with ISO 5211 compliant square shaft end, sealed by elastomer liner, with lever or manual gearbox, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuator. Wafer-type body (T1), semi-lug body (T2), full-lug body (T4) or U-section body with flat faces (T5). Body types T2 and T4 are suitable for downstream dismantling and dead-end service with counterflange. Connections to EN, ASME, JIS.
