Tapping Renewable Energy
Our Conscious efforts towards conserving energy and reducing carbon emission. Energy conversation is the practice of decreasing quantity of energy used for the same quality and quantity of output. It can be achieved by efficient energy use either by reducing the consumption of energy or by using sustainable alternative forms of energy.
We at KSB India, have well defined our energy conservation goal. Our aim is to utilise more renewable energy which will help us in reducing Carbon emissions.
Some of our successfully implemented sustainable initiatives
- Persistent efforts towards renovating buildings and assembly halls and upgrading production techniques to reduce energy consumption and to reduce emission of carbon
- Equipped all plants with energy-saving LED lighting, replacing old CFL lightings
- Use of solar panels for creating up to 3.27MW energy in 4 of our manufacturing facilities.
- Usage of Electrical vehicle to transport canteen food between plants for employees and workmen
- Replacement of old equipments with energy efficien t equipments
- Energy audits at some plant locations to identity and implement effective energy saving measures
Implementation of these measures have resulted in reduction of 7180 Metric Ton of CO2 emissions (measured by absolute method) till 2021 as compared to 2018.

We have made all our plants equipped with LED lighting by replacing old CFL lightings which resulted in to saving of energy.
