Summary of Job description
- Evaluate test cases received form Product manager (Client).
- Define the test cases and plan the test execution.
- Develop automation scripts in the testing software and analyze the results for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Identify the bugs overserved in Test cycle and report the issue in JIRA.
- Track testing progress and monitoring the test coverage, manage expectations with internal stakeholders, and meet the scheduled deadlines.
- Provide support for pre testing for deployment process in Quality system
Qualification and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or MCA with 1-2 years of experience in testing and writing testing script in testing software.
- Experience in eggplant or selenium would be preferred
- Exposure to automation testing
Knowledge / skills required
- Strong computer skills, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified tester would be preferred (ISTQB certification - foundation or expert level)
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong Interpersonal, must see big picture.
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming language (C++, C#, Java, Camos.Develop)
- Working knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle
