Summary of Job description
- Coordinate with manufacturing plants for product development
- Receive, analyse & comment on inputs / suggestions received from manufacturing plants.
- Release final drawing / design to manufacturing plants.
- Maintain Quality Records and Schedule / Budget records for given projects.
- Ensure compliance of products with design standards / codes
- Perform following activities under guidance:
- Conduct conceptual design studies pre-development / during development.
- Guiding team(s) for various projects / assignments.
- High / Expert level of CAD skills in solid & surface modeling, Assembly, drafting.
- Independence in handling requirements related to Product Support / Product Care.
- Guidance / Support to CAD Engineers in UG related tasks.
Qualification and experience
- Formal education: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional experience:
Graduate > 3 years
Diploma > 6 years
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Expertise in 3D CAD System with Unigraphics is essential
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Hands on experience in design / development of ANSI Gate, Globe, Check Valves is added advantage
