First BB3 pump manufactured by KSB India commissioned successfully

KSB India successfully commissioned CHTRa 6 x 10 x 11-5/D (one pump out of two supplied) at ONGC Hazira. This is the first BB3 pump manufactured by KSB India. 

Interesting to note, this order of replacement of pumps was taken by SupremeServ on LSTK (Lump Sum Turn Key ) basis. KSB India has completed the erection and commissioning of first pump within a record time of 8 weeks. KSB ‘s scope of work at site is : Replacement of Pump &  motor with base frame, PLC panel, Instrumentation, piping modification, replacement of suction & discharge valves along with NRV. It was very difficult as the parallel old pump was in operation at the site.

After initial commissioning on  17th March, KSB team has completed  PGTR for 72 hrs successfully and pump was observed working satisfactorily. All the parameters were observed well within the limit. Work on second pump will start after handing over of the first pump.
 
Great efforts put in by the SupremeServ LSTK team who was working tirelessly & continuously for more than 40 days at the site to complete this task and was well supported by PMPS team, TOP team, Operations team , Purchase team & Contract management team.
