I began my journey with KSB as a Front Office Executive in October 2002. In 2006, my senior recognized my potential and entrusted me with coordinating and assisting the SAP Implementation project. Working alongside the German SAP Consultants, I became a part of the team that successfully implemented SAP – Phase 1 & 2 at IPD, PPD, and Coimbatore Plants. During this time, I even formed some lasting connections with my colleagues in the IT Department.
Later, an Internal Job Posting for the position of Executive Assistant to the Director of HRD appeared on the notice board. Unaware of it, my colleague nudged me to seize the opportunity. By God's grace, I was selected, and my career took a significant turn. Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, former Director of HRD, became my mentor, significantly guiding me in this journey.
In 2013, with the Indian government’s introduction of the Companies Act mandating CSR activities, I participated in the initiation of CSR projects through the KSB Care Charitable Trust. From 2014 to 2022, various CSR projects were initiated and implemented across all three KSB companies in India, aligning initiatives with societal needs to create meaningful impact. It was an enriching experience to enable KSB to do its bit for the society.
For the past decade, I have been a core member of the Performance Management System (PMS) Team, grateful for the trust my seniors placed in me. I was also happy to assist consistently in developing HR policies. In 2017, I was given the opportunity to lead the Reward & Recognition (R&R) project, which has been instrumental in creating a rewarding work environment at KSB.
My journey at KSB has been filled with ample growth opportunities, responsibilities that I executed to the best of my ability, and the freedom to develop and grow. My seniors encouraged me to complete my MBA in 2021, demonstrating company’s commitment to employee’s professional development.
Whether organizing Employee Engagement Programs or Women’s Day Celebrations, working with KSB’s employees has been a rewarding experience. Back in 2002, the female headcount was minimal, yet KSB has always been fair and equal to all female colleagues. I have witnessed KSB's continuous growth and am proud to be associated with this humane company.
I would like to extend my gratitude to my mentors for their trust in my capabilities and their wonderful guidance.
From my experience, I encourage new joiners to recognize when opportunity knocks. KSB has a bright future—make the most of it.
Wishing all the best to KSB and all its employees.
