As I step into my 33rd year with KSB, I feel the same excitement that I first felt back in 1991. I began my journey with KSB in August 1991 as a Trainee and since, my career has been shaped through passion, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
As I look back at my journey, it is filled with experiences of all kinds. But the pivotal moment, that led me to take the path that I am on today, was in 1993. A gap in the HR department encouraged me to independently handle HR activities whilst my training. Taking upon this challenge strengthened my resolve and determination, shaping my approach to work ever since.
It was an honour to have received guidance and support of my mentors whose wisdom propelled me forward. I owe much of my growth to them. Their guidance empowered me to take ownership of my work and contribute significantly to the team's success.
I would also like to show my gratitude towards the great leaders at KSB who have brought significant transformations at the Coimbatore plant. Thanks to their dedicated leadership, our team has fostered a culture of transparency, open communication, mutual respect, collaboration, and employee development. Speaking of development, Valve Learning Centre set up at our plant is a source of pride. It offers cutting-edge facilities for hands-on learning and skill development. Moreover, for improved efficiency and accuracy, digitalization of the routine HR tasks such as payroll processing, employee on boarding process and exit formalities etc., was also implemented which ensured everyone moved parallel to global technological developments.
I believe what truly sets KSB apart is a workplace with supportive and inclusive environment. Employees are recognized and rewarded for their contributions and achievements. There are a number of Employee Engagement activities that create a positive and inclusive workplace environment. KSB has equally contributed to this, as recent remarkable infrastructural upgrades have created a more inviting and productive workspace for all. At KSB, I have observed how employees’ personal wellness, customers satisfaction, and contribution to social responsibilities is looked into as seriously as business growth.
I am proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes respect, integrity, collaboration, excellence, innovation and social responsibility.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that have shaped my path thus far, and I look forward to continuing this journey with each and every one of you. Thanks for the support and encouragement.
