I am still wondering how 31 years of my journey with KSB has passed by.
My journey began on November 23, 1992, in PPC. I started my work with a lot of dreams, and it has been turned into a fulfilling memorable career. This was only possible with the support & guidance of my superiors. I take this opportunity to convey my sincere thanks to my college friend who referred and introduced me to the opening at KSB.
On my first day at KSB, everything was new to me, the office environment, the company culture, and the processes that I had to learn. However, my colleagues and managers supported me and helped me to understand KSB's core values, goals, and my specific role within the team. Their encouragement motivated me to perform well.
In April 1995, I had an opportunity to change my job role and so I moved to the Finance Dept in the Controlling Section. This shift was pivotal in my career. My mentor in this role often emphasized that "costing is purely common sense," which resonated deeply with me. I found the activities in this function not only interesting but also innovative and creative.
In this capacity, I was responsible for various tasks including Inventory Valuation, Standard Costing, Project Order Costing & Generating Profitability Reports.
In the year 2000, I had another chance of job rotation and so I moved into Sales Invoicing Section. This experience broadened my understanding of how different departments were linked and thereby contribute to overall business success. After two years I was back to the Controlling function.
One of the highlights of my career was being part of the core team member of the SAP implementation project. During this project I could gain a lot of exposure about the various functions within KSB.
Presently I am working on new projects like Sicca Engine & RPA (Robotic process automation).
I would like to highlight that during the challenging times in COVID-19 pandemic, KSB demonstrated exceptional care for its employees and their families. This level of support is truly commendable and sets KSB apart from many other companies.
One of the most impressive aspects of KSB is its unwavering commitment to employee growth and development. The culture at KSB too is friendly and encouraging with a lot of importance given to Teamwork.
Today I would like to extend my gratitude to the persons who have shared their knowledge and helped me in gaining experience.
