The China Trip of Stephan Bross, CTO of the KSB Group

On April 8, 2024, Dr. Stephan Bross' first stop on his China tour was the KSB Shanghai plant. He not only toured the entire plant, but also held meetings and exchanges with the KSB Shanghai leadership.

Dr. Bross gained an in-depth understanding of the current development status and achievements of KSB Shanghai since the implementation of its three major strategies of localization, digitalization, and sustainability. He also visited the PCC factory currently under construction in the plant and expressed great expectations for its official launch in July.

In the afternoon, Dr. Stephan Bross and the leadership team were interviewed by reporters from major media, introducing KSB's full implementation of quality-first and technological innovation, as well as the company's future development direction.

In the interview, Dr. Bross stated that KSB is always committed to applying the latest industry technologies to its best products, integrating mechanical expertise with digital strategy, and developing in parallel to bring the best products to the market.

The next day, Dr. Stephan Bross and his team visited the SEC-KSB Nuclear Pumps & Valves Co., Ltd., toured the factory, and learned about the subsidiary's major projects. He also highly praised KSB's achievements and leading position in the nuclear power field over the past five years.

On April 10th, the leaders inspected one of the key projects of the Water Business Unit. In the afternoon, Dr. Bross and the leadership team visited KSB's key digitalization project, and had a friendly and in-depth exchange and discussion with the customer, which won the customer's praise and recognition.

During the one-day itinerary in Guangdong, Dr. Stephan Bross expressed admiration for China's achievements in the water conservancy field, and also gained an in-depth understanding of KSB's practical experience in digital implementation, stating that he would share these experiences with KSB partners around the world to jointly promote digital transformation.

After the visit, Dr. Bross went to the Hong Kong airport and ended his three-day China tour, returning to Germany.
