GIW Announces Name Change to KSB GIW, Inc.

GROVETOWN, GA, USA (March 18, 2024) – Effective immediately, the legal name of GIW Industries, Inc. has changed to KSB GIW, Inc. The brands GIW® Slurry Pumps, KSB Mining, and KSB SupremeServ will remain the same. 

The KSB Group is on a profitable growth trajectory with a target to increase order intake to €4 billion by 2030. KSB Mining market segment is an integral part of this growth. GIW, as the flagship organization of KSB Mining, is critical to the global mission. In North American markets, in addition to their primary focus of selling GIW® Slurry Pumps, GIW’s sales teams are focused on growing the business of KSB’s non‐slurry pumps and services. 

GIW Industries, Inc. has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the KSB Group since the 1990’s. KSB is a well‐known global brand of high‐quality pumping equipment, valves, and service. GIW is a reputable worldwide supplier of high‐quality slurry pumps, technologies, and service. Combining two powerful brands in one name creates more synergies, name‐brand recognition, and access to newer markets.

In addition to the name change, we are proud to announce that the KSB Group has a new logo that you will see in future communications. The new branding reflects our continuous development as a company, and our ambition to be the global champion in quality, presence, technology, sustainability and know‐how.
