Information about the coronavirus response at KSB
Dear customers, partners and colleagues,
At KSB, we are closely monitoring the rapid spread of the coronavirus and the impact of this disease on people and economies across the globe. We are also taking the necessary steps as quickly as possible to protect our employees and maintain operational capacity.
For this purpose, we have set up an interdisciplinary team that specialises in matters related to staff, purchasing, production, sales, services and decisions on the measures to be taken. Our main focus is our responsibility towards our employees, customers and suppliers, which we fulfil by showing awareness and acting with the utmost professionalism and pragmatism. This may be a difficult period for all of us, but we remain confident that we can handle any challenge that comes our way.
All of our manufacturing facilities and technical support centres are currently operational, the majority of which are operating without major restrictions. However, in accordance with the information available at any given time, production may be subject to restrictions or interruptions in certain cases. Under such circumstances, we will resort to using stock and other alternatives wherever possible. However, if there were to be severe restrictions on production that would result in customers not being able to benefit from our products and services in a timely manner, we would make sure to inform them immediately.
Where possible, our employees are working remotely and using online means of com
unication. We are also reducing the number of in-person events to a minimum and instead using Skype and videoconferencing, thereby minimising personal contact and reducing the risk of coronavirus transmission. By doing this, we can also ensure that your Sales and Technical Support contacts remain at your disposal without constraints.
On behalf of the management team, I would like to thank you, our customers, partners and colleagues, for the trust you have placed in us, particularly in these difficult times.
Stay safe and healthy.
Kind regards,
João Leite
(Managing Director)
