KSB Nederland B.V. was founded in 1958 as a subsidiary of the parent company and as a successor to the “Technisch Bureau voor Nederland” (Technical Office for the Netherlands). This trade agency had represented the interests of KSB in the Netherlands since 1919.

KSB Nederland not only has a skilled and motivated team of consultants and project engineers whose expertise covers the whole range of KSB pumps and valves, the company also has an excellent service network with workshops in Zwanenburg and Heinenoord. KSB Nederland employs approximately 80 people and is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and VCA.

KSB Nederland’s success story

KSB Nederland is a dynamic company that is synonymous with innovation and tradition. This brief overview will tell you about some of the milestones in the history of KSB Nederland, from its establishment right through to its latest product innovations:

1900-1958

In the first half of the twentieth century, KSB was active in the Netherlands through, on the one hand, 'Technisch Bureau Voor Nederland' (Technical Bureau for the Netherlands) of Mr. Gijben and, on the other hand, its own representation 'KleinSchanzlin', both based in Amsterdam.

1958

When Mr Gijben retired in 1958, he sold the Technisch Bureau to KSB and as a result it was renamed 'KSB Technisch Bureau Voor Nederland', which was later to become 'KSB Nederland BV'.

1958-1980

In 1964, the service and repair workshop in Zwanenburg was commissioned and in 1968 an office was built at the same location to accommodate the steadily growing workforce.

1980-2000

In the 1980s, the KSB group takes over the French pump manufacturer Pompes Guinard and the French butterfly valve manufacturer AMRI. In the aftermath, KSB Nederland acquired the Dutch representatives Guinard Pompen Nederland BV and Amrined BV.

The steadily growing business necessitates new construction and expansion of the Zwanenburg site. In 1993, KSB opened a service branch in Heinenoord for customers in the Rotterdam region.

2000-present

The introduction of integrated automation systems has led to a major improvement in efficiency. Electronics and automation are not only changing the work processes, but also the range on offer to customers: speed control, website, web shop, cloud applications, monitoring systems such as PumpMeter, KSB Guard, etc.

The classic mechanical pump world changes into a technologically advanced universe.

With the construction of a large 'state of the art' workshop in 2017, KSB Netherlands completes the range of services offered to its customers.
