CB – Trainings courses teaching the basics

CB01 Introduction to pump engineering and operation of pumping stations

You are familiar with the basics ofhydraulics. You will know how centrifugal pumps work (especially for fluids without solids content) and be able to make an optimum selection. You will be able to safely asses the pumps’ operating behaviour in systems and be aware of the types of operating limits. You will know the measurement methods used to determine flow characteristics and how to prevent measurement errors.

CB02 Shaft seals in centrifugal pumps

You will have gained a well-founded knowledge of shaft seals in centrifugal pumps. You will be able to professionally handle these types of sealing technology.

CB03 Energy efficiency in hydraulic systems

You will have gained fundamental knowledge of the interaction between pumps, valves and piping and their interdependence and influences on one another. This will make you aware of the typical energy consumers and how to identify potential for improvement in a system.

CB04 Vibrations and noises

You will be able to identify and prevent the cause of vibrations and noises in pumps and hydraulic systems.

CH + CA – Training courses with a large share of practical content

CH01 Servicing and maintaining single-stage pumps

You will understand the basic functioning principle and design details of a single-stage pump. In hands-on practice you will have learned how to service and maintain a single-stage pump.

CH02 Servicing and maintaining multistage pumps

You will understand the basic functioning principle and design details of a multistage pump. In hands-on practice you will have learned how to service and maintain a multistage pump.

CH03 Servicing and maintaining submersible motor pumps

You will understand the basic functioning principle and design details of a submersible motor pump. In hands-on practice you will have learned how to service and maintain a submersible motor pump.

CA03 Automation PumpDrive 2

The participant can install the PumpMeter and PumpDrive 2, connect them electrically and evaluate them hydraulically. In addition, the participant can parameterize and operate them. The participant recognizes known faults and can
resolve them.

CPA – Theoretical training courses about pumps in different systems

CPA01 Processes and systems engineering in a fossil-fuelled power station

You will understand the power plant process and the interaction of pumps, valves and pipes. You will learn about suitable pumps and materials based on specific requirements. You will be able to identify and prevent typical causes of failure.

CPA02 Processes and systems engineering in industrial plants

You will understand the processes in various selected industrial plants and the interaction of pumps, valves and pipelines. You will learn about suitable pumps and materials based on specific requirements. You will be able to identify and prevent typical causes of failure.

CPA03 Operation of pumps for transporting water and waste water

You will be able to safely operate pumps for transporting water and waste water, detect damage and causes of damage, and identify and arrange the required maintenance work.

CPA04 Valves for industrial and power station applications

You will have learned about the basic functioning principle and design details of various valves in power stations. You will be able to identify and prevent the typical causes of valve failure.
