- Heat exchanger compliant with all requirements of API 682, 4th edition
- For single or double mechanical seals (Arrangements 1, 2 or 3). Frequently used for hot water and boiler feed water as well as for many hydrocarbons requiring cooling to prevent the fluid at the mechanical seal from evaporating (observing the vapour pressure margin).
- Circulation between the cooler and the KSB mechanical seal is ensured via a circulation device integrated in the seal. A throttling bush largely isolates the cooled fluid in the seal chamber from the hot fluid pumped.
