Summary of Job description
- Implement and maintain system requirements of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and MbK.
- Handle Customer Audits & Supplier Audits and take necessary improvement actions & monitor their effectiveness.
- Reduce failure cost (CONC) due to customer complaints arising out of short / wrong supply, rework and warranty through analysis of non-conformities and take improvement actions accordingly.
- Handle Idea management/ CIP and Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure adherence of in-house manufacturing processes to standard/QN/ Procedures and initiate process improvement measures as required.
- Coordinate with other departments like Contract Management, MRP & Purchase for activities related to Quality Management.
- Review and approve NDT/Welding procedures, resolve comments with help of concern departments/suppliers.
- Plan and coordinate daily receipt, in-process and final inspections. Coordinate repair pump testing and resolve performance related issues.
- Handle customer/TPI stage & final inspections, ensure pump dossier compliance with pump QCP requirements.
- Responsible for New product development/ modification.
Qualification and experience
B.E. (Mechanical) with 12 to 14 years of experience in the relevant field
Knowledge / skills required
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes like Casting, Forgings, Fabrication, Machining, Grinding and Assembly process.
- Knowledge/skill of various NDT methods for material
- Knowledge/skill of QMS, EMS & OHSAS standards & SQC tools.
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy and Metrology.
- Knowledge of National and International standards ASTM/ASME.
- Knowledge of SAP – QM module.
