Assistant Manager ( Standard Spares Business)

Summary of Job description

1.  Responsible for Development of ASCs for Industrial Segments.
2.  Achieve yearly Standard Industrial Pumps Spares and Mechanical Seal Targets of assigned area and actively participate to ensure spare business exceed target value.
3.  Provide guideline to ASCs Service Engineer for Installation, Commissioning and Trouble Shooting.
4.  Provide Product feedback to plant team and actively participate in product improvement activities.
5.  Provide product service training to customer/dealer. 
6.  Appoint New ASC as per decided target.
7.  Periodic audit of ASC and prepare action plan for ASC Development.
8.  Monitor Spare stock level of ASC and decide optimum stock level at ASC to ensure prompt and reliable service to end user.
9.  Monitor the quality of out of Warranty Service provided by ASCs. 
10.  Conduct product training.
11.  Decide suitable ASC Spare stocking strategy according to product requirements and implement same.
     

Qualification and experience

DME (Mechanical/Electrical) with 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in similar / relevant industries

Functional / Technical Competencies

•  Knowledge of Pumps, Mechanical Seal
•  Knowledge of Spares Business Development 
•  Knowledge of Hydraulic Attribute and effect of the same on Product Performance.
   

Knowledge / skills required
