Summary of Job description

  1.  Review Order Indents and Communicate with Internal Functions.
  2.  Review and Approve Pump Quality Control Plans (QCPs). 
  3.  Prepare and Release Pump Part list in SAP for Standard Pumps and Project pumps. Release of Technical Supplement and implement part list changes as per revised indents and QCPs.
  4.  Prepare Manufacturing  and Assembly Check Drawings for API and Non-API pumps. Revision and Archiving of Manufacturing Drawings as per Defined Procedure. 
  5.  Assist the 3D Modelling team in Generation of 3D Models by Providing Required 2D drawings and other Dimensional Inputs, Participating in Checking the Models etc
  6.  Resolve Technical issues Reported During Assembly Testing and from site. Conduct Site Visits in Consultation with Supreme Serv and Claim Management teams for Analysing Critical Issues. 
  7.  Implement Order Specific Development Activities & Analysis in Coordination with KSB Tech through offer permits. Evaluate the Effort Hours Quoted by KSB Tech. Co-ordinate with Nuclear Engineering team for modelling and analysis as required.
  8.  Create Pattern Layout Drawings and Requisitions for New Parts to be Developed

     

Qualification and experience

DME/ BE (Mechanical) with 3 to 6 years of experience. 

Knowledge / skills required 

  •  Knowledge of 2D drawings in AUTO CAD & 3D Modelling in UG
  • Knowledge of SAP MM & PP Module
     

Functional / Technical Competencies

  • Experience of Working in Product Engineering in Pump Industry
