Summary of Job description

  1. Responsible for processing Indents (Sales Orders) by Technical Order Documentation.
  2. Convert Customers’ requirements received through Indents from TSS, into documents required by Customers.
  3. Prepare & submit project drawings as required by Customers / Consultants.
  4. Prepare Base frames / Motor Lantern drawings & other major bought out items & the same to be released for procurement I manufacturing.
  5. Coordinate with Mechanical seal vendors and Client for expediting document submission and approval.
  6. Ensure timely approvals on documents from Customer / Consultants &update document submission schedules regularly.
  7. Review & approval of pump data sheets, performance curves & further submission to Clients I Consultants for their approvals
  8. Review aggregate part list w.r.t. approved / final documents and drawings.
  9. Update existing documents for "As Built" corrections reported by QM I Production
  10. Create aggregate BOM.

Qualification and experience

B.E. (Mechanical) with 4 to 6 years of experience in the relevant field DME  with 6 to 8 years of experience  

Knowledge / skills required

  • Knowledge of various Standards like API, VDI, ASTM HIS, DIN, etc.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Process including assembly, fabrication and testing.
  • Awareness in mechanical and hydraulic design
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Analytical Ability

Functional/Technical  Competencies

  • Exposure to Auto CAD and UG NX
  • Knowledge of SAP – SD module.
