Summary of Job description

  1. Process Instrument (PG, PT, DPT, TG, RTD, TT, VT, MMS, VMS etc) requirement as per project Orders by Technical Order Documentation.
  2. Prepare Instrument documents like IO list, instrument Index, Cable Schedule, etc.
  3. Review and approve Junction Box, Panel documents. 
  4. Review and submit P&ID, Loop wiring diagram, etc.
  5. Convert Customer’s requirements received through Indents from TSS, into documents required by Customers.
  6. Prepare & Submit project Instrument drawing & documents as required by Customer/Consultants.
  7. Closely coordinate with vendor & get the documents to fulfil the documentation requirement, 
  8. Expedite document submission & approvals from Customer / Consultants & update document submission schedules regularly
  9. Review & approval of Instrument  data sheets, GAD, QCP & further submission to Clients / Consultants for their approvals
  10. Review Instrument aggregate part list w.r.t. approved / final documents and drawings.
  11. Update existing documents for "As Built" corrections reported by QM / Production
  12. Create Instrument aggregate BOM to release in the system.

Qualification and experience 

BE Instrumentation with 3-5 years of  relevant experience in project Instrumentation


Knowledge / skills required 

  • Knowledge of various Standards like API, VDI, ASTM HIS, DIN, IEC etc
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Process including assembly and testing of all types of instruments (PG, PT, DPT, TG, RTD, TT, VT, MMS, VMS etc)
  • Awareness in Instrumentation design
  • SAP (PP module) awareness 
  • Exposure to Excel, Word, Power Point applications
  • Exposure to Auto CAD and UG NX
