Assistant/Dy.Manager- In process & Final Inspection

Summary of Job description

1.  Conduct In-process audit of manufacturing process at assembly shop [e.g. painting. packing] and test field, for product/part quality improvement. Participate in implementation of improvement action and monitor their effectiveness.
2.  Handle quality related issues in Project & Standard pumps assembly by coordinating with concern departments for correction & corrective actions to deviations.
3.  Participate in various new product/sample part development trials.
4.  Implement and monitor Integrated Management system through internal audits.
5.  Offer product inspection/tests and documents as per quality plan to customer/TPI for review and approval.
6.  Analyse the claims/complaints received from site. Plan and implement corrective and preventive action.
7.  Improve casting quality for surface finish and aesthetic, by coordinating quality issues with Foundry division.
8.  Prepare various MIS reports such as on time delivery, plant bench mark, customer PPM, quarterly/half-yearly/annually claims analysis, zone wise claims analysis, assembly issues. monthly data, Q-notification analysis, failure cost etc.
9.  Conduct Final inspection of Project pumps / Standard pumps (export) and maintaining inspection Check-list in records.
10.  Maintain passport history cards with photos (stage wise) as defined for export Orders, visual inspection of issued components.
11.  Coordinate with assembly concern for planning related to inspections at various stages.
     

Qualification and experience 

DME 6-8 Years of experience / B.E. 3-5 years of Experience 

Knowledge / skills required

•  SAP (QM module) awareness is a must
•  Analytical Ability
•  Planning & execution
•  NDE Level II qualification in VT,PT & MT 
•  Certified Auditor for IMS-QMS/EMS
