Assistant General Manager

Summary of Job description

1.  Review manufacturing technology & manufacturing processes to speed up production of manufacturing of spares and mechanical seals .
2.  Use the available resources of machines & manpower (inhouse & with vendors) to establish capacities to meet projected volumes, urgencies of the customer. 
3.  Work out strategies for generating outside support for component, assemblies and implement based on techno commercial evaluation.
4.  Monitor Sales performance of respective department on daily / monthly / annual basis against budget. Take corrective measures wherever required.
5.  Establish & implement new processes in PPD .
6.  Ensure Customer satisfaction.
7.  Evaluate capital investment plans, get approval and implement.
8.  Ensure cordial Labor Relations 
9.  Review financial performance and assess variances with budget and take corrective measures.
10.  Review performance on “On Time Delivery”, Quality of spares & repairs. 
11. Take regular feedback from the customers and corrective measures.
12.  Implementation of Health, Safety and Environment initiatives.

Qualification and experience

DME/ BE (Mechanical) with 20 years of experience.

Knowledge / skills required

• In-depth Product Knowledge ( Pump preferred )
•   Knowledge of Manufacturing technology
