Quick guide: Step-by-step commissioning

In the event of flooding, everything needs to work quickly. This is why commissioning your KSB Flood Fighter L is designed to be child’s play. Simply follow the illustrated steps and explanations.

KSB Flood Fighter L: Easy to commission.

Remove the clip-on label on the outside of the kit and keep it in safe place.

Open the cover and, if necessary, remove it. Put on gloves. Remove the hose from the crate.

Position the pump vertically in the crate.

Unroll the supplied hose and connect it to the pump.

Lay the hose to an area that can hold the drained water. Unroll the power cable and route it to a power source outside of the flooded area.

Place the crate containing the pump in the flooded area.

Connect the power cable to the power source. The pump will start up automatically.

CAUTION: The pump runs in continuous duty. Keep an eye on it during operation and disconnect it from the power supply as soon as the water level has dropped to 3 to 5 cm. Otherwise, dry running may occur which can damage the pump.

After operation, clean and let dry the pump and materials supplied. Stored in the crate, your KSB Flood Fighter L will be ready for its next mission. Please pay attention to the Inspection and Maintenance notes on this page.
