Summary of Job description
- Perform visual & dimensional inspection of pumps along with accessories (complete unit/skid).
- Conduct packing verification of pump & spares
- Conduct Offer stage (hydro, rotor balance, strip, PMI) & final inspection of pumps to TPI and customer.
- Prepare in-process inspection reports.
- Create X3- Notifications based on observations and maintain monthly observation data.
- Prepare pump dossier & get reviewed from to TPI and Customer.
- Perform Process/Product audit.
- Perform painting inspection.
Qualification and experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in similar / relevant industries
Knowledge / skills required
- Knowledge and well familiar with measuring
- instruments, Pump Assembly, Machining, Painting and Fabrication processes
- Well aware of the customer requirements through QAP, P&ID and GA drawings
- Knowledge and familiar with NDT Methods
- Knowledge of ASME/ DIN codes and standards
- Knowledge of SAP- QM Module
